starched and ironed, or dry-cleaned, check inside clothes too! *Please: NO lint, pet fur, dust, worn but not laundered, attic, moth, or ball smell, smoke or food smell, etc.
Item name Designer size color *It's your responsibility to have a list of what you consigned. then pin to your bundle. No wrinkled clothing. Each item must be on a hanger and ironed. It's quicker for us to process this way. Ironing lets you see spots that are on your items. HINTS

STYLES Up-to-date, new, and less than 2 years old clothing is what we have the most of. - Vintage Clothing and accessories - must be cleaned and pressed - Include on 3x5 card year made or how old item is, - name of item, - history of item, if known, etc. We also accept other kinds of clothing: e. recycled, f. organic, g. Fads, h. Trends, i. Costumes and costume pieces j. Classics, k. Retro, l. Funky, and so on. We also accept scarves, boots, gloves, hats, belts, etc, and some Household Decorations or small pieces of nice furniture. 5. SEASONAL *Items may take 2 weeks for your items to go onto the floor - and longer in the busy seasons, so take this into consideration when planning to drop off. WHEN YOU ARRIVE Make sure your items have a name tag secured to your bundle. If not, write your name and date on one of our 3 x 5" cards just inside the door, and attach to your bundle of clothes. Please look around the store, while we go through your items, or if there is a line. 7. Length of CONSIGNMENT PERIOD The consignment period is 2 months long, and, at the end of that time, you receive 40% of what the item sold for. 8. PAYMENT Come in to the store to get your money. We love it when you spend your money in the Pink House. If you prefer cash or check, you need to come in to the store to at the end of the 2 months to collect your CASH OR CHECK. Checks are only mailed if you move. Send a SSAE to the PINK House. 9. HOW TO CHECK YOUR ACCOUNT BALANCE Come in to the store. It is best if you come in to the store to check your account. We usually only have one person here, and cannot always answer the large amount of phone calls we receive daily. 10. YOUR STORE CREDIT You may spend your credit that you have earned in the store at any time - you do not have to wait for the end of the 2 months to do that. 11. ONE YEAR You have one year to collect your money. 12. FEES There is a one-time $5 processing fee to open an account, but you don't have to give the money up front; all accounts start (-$5.00). As you sell items, your account will go into the positives. If, after we have received your items, we find at a later date that the item is damaged in some way, we will donate that item, but enter into your account on the computer the reason for donating. If your items come in wrinkled, we will steam them out for you, and you will receive 20%, instead of 40% of the selling price. 13. DONATIONS When the 2 month period is over, all unsold merchandise is donated to charities, with some exceptions. 14. PARKING Parking is to the right of the Pink House, in my 5 pink spaces, or in the back of that large lot. 15. STATEMENT Doubletake is not responsible for your lost items. It is up to the
name and date, and that you have your own list of items at home. Doubletake reserves the right to donate any item at any time (except for gowns, furs, vintage and designer items), if we find that it does not meet our requirements.

Small businesses such as this are usually run by one person. We are lucky to have community members volunteer at times. We've worked hard for 14 years to keep providing this store to the community. It is the sole source of income for my family. I have spent much time compiling the Guidelines, so this store runs as efficiently as possible. Please consider this before consigning. |
